Rinat Pilipp

Program Coordinator, Mandel Program for Regional Leadership in the North

​Rinat Pilipp is the coordinator of the Mandel Program for Regional Leadership in the North. Prior to her work for the Mandel Foundation–Israel, Rinat worked in non-formal education for two decades. A graduate of a pre-military national civil service program and of the IDF’s Nahal brigade, she began her career in Green Horizons, the Jewish National Fund’s youth movement, in which she had been active in her youth. In this capacity, she educated young people and led teams of civilian service volunteers. Subsequently, Rinat worked in various education and coordination roles, including work at Lotem, a nonprofit organization that aims to make nature sites accessible to people with disabilities, and at the Center for Children’s Science Education at the ORT Braude College of Engineering. Rinat also worked at Machshava Tova, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing underprivileged populations access to technology, where she led a digital literacy project. Over the years, she has volunteered in a variety of fields in her local community, mainly related to culture. Rinat holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the Technion, and a master’s degree in natural and environmental resource management from the University of Haifa.
