Mr. Morton Mandel, chairman of the Mandel Foundation, visited the Mandel Center for Leadership in the North at Yokneam as part of his trip to Israel in early June. During his visit, Mr. Mandel met with fellows of the Mandel Program for Local Leadership in Baqa al-Gharbiyye. The fellows had an opportunity to speak with Mr. Mandel, ask him questions, and hear his views on leadership, personal and professional development, and philanthropy.
When the meeting was over, Mr. Mandel continued on to Oranim Academic College, where he received the Yakir Oranim Award, which recognized him as a distinguished colleague of the college, at a ceremony there.
